May 2018 Bulletin

Our budget figures for most customers were already recalculated earlier this year. However, we are asking all of you to take a look at your account and see where it stands. If you have an existing balance on the account, please continue with the regular payments. If you do not anticipate another delivery this budget season (through June 30), and have a credit balance on your account, please DO NOT make a budget payment for the month of May. If another delivery is anticipated, but you do have sufficient credit balance to cover this ( approx. $425.00), again-no payment is necessary. If you opted to have your budget payment charged to a credit card, and you have sufficient credit to cover any anticipated deliveries, your card will not be charged unless you specifically request it. If you have a balance and/or anticipate additional deliveries this season then your credit card will be charged as usual. If you have any questions about your bill or your next delivery date, please call the office and we’ll be more than happy to advise you. Thank you again for all of your business.

You can now have access to your account through our website. On the home page, click on the account login tab and it will walk you through how to set it up. On the site you can pay bills, add or update credit card information, and check the history on your account. We know how busy everyone’s schedule is these days, so this is a way we can try and help to make it easier for you to do business with us. As we all get used to this new feature, we ask that you still call us for scheduling service and oil deliveries. We don’t want to miss anything urgent you may need. For any non-urgent questions or requests, you can email us or call us at 781-834-8831. Thank you!

If your boiler looks like this one to the right, perhaps it’s time for an up- grade. Now is the time to think about a boiler replacement when the weather is nice and not when you’re depending on it for heat. Not only will you save precious dollars on your fuel bill (in some cases 15-20%), but you’ll have peace of mind knowing that you and your family will re- main safe and warm with dependable oil heat. You also may be eligible for rebates through Mass Save of $1,000 for a new boiler and an addition- al $500 for an indirect oil fired hot water heater. There are additional in- centives if your heating system is over 30 years old and you may be eligi- ble for special financing. Call us for a no cost survey of your heating sys- tem and we can get you started in the right direction. While we are survey- ing the heating equipment, we can also do a visual inspection of your oil storage tank. If the tank is near or past 30 years of age, its time to think about upgrading that too. Give us a call. 781-834-8831

PLEASE REMEMBER: If you call us for service after our normal business hours (Mon-fri, 8-4:30), please allow for a few extra rings. Your call is being forwarded to our 24 hr answering service so that you may talk with a real live person, not a machine. If it’s an emergency, your call will then be forwarded to the technician on call. Thank you.

An Easterner who walked into a Western saloon, was amazed to see a dog sitting at a table playing poker with three men. “Can that dog really read cards?”, he asked. “Yeah, but he ain’t much of a player”, said one of the men. “Whenever he gets a good hand, he wags his tail.”
