Happy New Year

THE FULL SERVICE DIFFERENCE

Why a full service dealer is different and what it means for you:

We operate from an established place of business. This allows us to take your calls and respond to your needs 24 hours a day. We have a full support staff on duty to help you if you need us.

We carry a full complement of insurance. If one of our drivers or technicians slips and injures himself on your property, our insurance will cover it. If you deal with a company that doesn’t have proper coverage, that may come back to you and your insurance.

We own a full fleet of delivery vehicles and service vans. A well maintained fleet of vehicles means you can count on us to be there when you need us. Some dealers have 1 truck, and no service vans. What will happen to you if their trucks are not running?

We carry extensive inventory of equipment and parts. Inventory allows us to repair or replace anything in an emergency. Our service vans are fully stocked to be able to repair or replace what’s needed immediately.

We are local. Our technicians all live in the community we serve. This allows faster response time to you…even after hours.

“KEEP IT LOCAL”

I’m sure you have all heard that expression before……Well, we are true believers in that. We are proud to support several local events and charitable organizations, year after year. Its not only rewarding to us as a business, but we also feel an obligation to give back and support the community that has kept us in business for over 70 years. If you feel the same, then spread the word and refer a friend to us. We want every local household to be at our service, just like all of you have been for so many years. Referrals are the best compliment we can get and we will reward you if your friend starts doing business with us. Thank You!

Our 2017 Scenic Calendars

These calendars are in our office and they are available for you and your friends. Please stop in for your copy. Or, if you can’t make it to us, call us and we will mail one to you or bring it with us at your next oil delivery or service.

NOTES FROM OUR DELIVERY DEPARTMENT.

Some friendly reminders about information that’s helpful to us to keep your deliveries coming on a timely manner:

  • If you have any changes in your living habits, household occupancy, or have recently renovated and added on to your home, please call us and let us know. Your oil usage may be affected by this.
  • Please keep your driveway clear for us so we can get close enough to make the delivery. Remember, our trucks are wider than the cars and SUV’s you drive.
  • Please remember to keep a clear path to your fill pipe. If there is a gate to pass through, please keep that clear as well.
  • If you have a steep or long driveway, we already know. If there is snow in the forecast, you may see us earlier than normal just so we can make sure you are full in case the snow lasts for a while.

FROM OUR ACCOUNTS DEPARTMENT:

We want to thank you for all of your efforts in keeping your account up to date. It is the time of year when some of you may be seeing us more than once a month for an oil delivery, and by keeping your account current, we can schedule your next delivery for you at the appropriate time. Please call us if you are having any difficulty keeping up and we will do what we can to accommodate you. As always, we want to Thank You for choosing us as your service provider. We appreciate your business!

HUMIDIFIERS SAVE ON FUEL COSTS

Humidifiers are an important energy saving addition to your heating system. Body moisture escapes faster in dry air, making you feel cooler. By adding moisture to the air, you will feel warmer at a lower room temperature. Other advantages are: Less wearing of carpets and upholstery; less shrinkage of woodwork; longer life of furniture; etc…

If you would like a free estimate on installing a humidification system in your home, please call us at 781-

834-8831, or email us at oil@randhandy.com

BITS AND PIECES

One day an eight year old boy and his Dad went to the pet store to buy a puppy. After a while, the boy noticed one puppy in a pen by itself and asked, “Why is this puppy all alone?” The manager explained, “This puppy was born with a bad leg and crippled, and we may have to put him to sleep.” After a short conversation with his boy, the Dad told the manager that they wanted to buy that puppy. “But why would you want a puppy that would never be able to run and play with you?”, asked the manager. The boy then bent over and patted the puppy on the head. Then he pulled up his right pant leg exposing his brace and said, “Mister, I want this one because I understand what he is going through.”
